Last day

Walking toward this office this morning it finally hit home that it will be my last day in work for a month. A broad grin suddenly took shape as I went past Minshull Street Crown Court, which may have looked odd as

a) it was chucking it down

b) it's only Wednesday after all, officially the worst working day of the week*

c) no-one smiles at 8 o clock in the morning (expect the local bus loon)

Now if I can only persuade someone in authority to let me have an early dart...

*this has been measured by a team of boffins at some over funded University in Nebraska, probably. My research however is based on me being away for a week - Wednesday is when you wish you were at home the most.

Just wanted to be the first to say hello to all you Haggart/Taggs there on the other side of the world. As I am posting this, you are currently flying over the Atlantic on your way to Los Angeles. Weather here is dull and damp as usual.
Let us know all your comings and goings folks. Enjoy Alcatraz, Pier 39, Clam chowder etc. etc.

You've arrived! Well done for getting this far. Hope you all wake up bright and breezy and raring to go this morning (Friday 24th). Jonathan you had the longest birthday on record!
Know you will be dying to know, Toby Anstis was the first to be thrown out of the jungle.

Well, it's me again. You ever going to update this blog???
It is Monday 27th November today and I have just heard on the GMTV that 27th November when it falls on a Monday is the unluckiest day of all! How clever of you lot to miss it out all together. From my calculations, you are travelling on SUnday evening, missing out Monday altogether and flying straight through to Tuesday?! How clever of you! Am I right?
Come on tell us how you all enjoyed San Francisco and indeed about your mega journeys.

Well now this really is an exciting, informative read, don't know how you've found the time to write all this information, and no doubt you'll be putting even more on it from that diary you're keeping..................

Going in a heavenly copter is awesome, as somebody somewhere says. Glad you all enjoyed it. the cat is fine, eating her meals and turning her back on me if I leave to early, at other times I just get the steely glare of the evil eye. She's not exactly wasting away though.
You'll be pleased to know that the weather's bin lousy, not expected to get any better.
Car's still here, other one starts each time. Stephen Hendry lost to Peter Ebden in UK Championship.
Something happened in rugby.
Glossop might have played. CN has been moaning in the Chron.
and lifes really exciting. In't life grand!

Thought I would just take this opportunity to wish the Haggarts and the Taggs a very Happy Christmas. We have cold weather, dark nights, shops full of Santa Claus, mulled wine, mince pies and chocolate - what you got? Sunshine? O.K. we'll trade!
Hope your travels are still going well and you are enjoying seeing the sights.
Enjoy your 'prawn on the barbie' Christmas and come back to us safe and sound.
Phoebe and Naomi, have a brilliant day, we are looking forward to having you back with us.
Message to Eileen & Rob, hope you are now o.k. Eileen, and pain free. Be careful both of you!

Lots of love to all

Monica & Dave as well.

Everywhere else is fog bound. BA cancelling 100's of flights. Christmas rush died at Heathrow.
Don't you wish you were at home?
Mind Gp. virtually unaffected other than 3 lane Q's Hyde to Mottram on m/way at 11.00AM. Cold but clear night here, all airports closed Glasgow to London.
